Premier Tech Systems is proud to introduce its new Valve Packing product lines. STONEPAK is born from the acquisition of the bagging division at Graphic Packaging in May 2009.  STONEPAK will continue the tradition that has been passed down through Bates, St. Regis Bates, Stone Container, Smurfit Stone, Altivity and Graphic Packaging. For more than 108 years these companies have provided cutting-edge packaging and bagging solutions for their customers.  The product selection includes valve bag fillers (air packers, impeller packers, auger packers), robotic and traditional bag placers, bag palletizers, ultrasonic bag sealers and pinch bag closers. If you have any questions or comments, do not hesitate to contact us at stonepak@premiertech.com and visit www.STONEPAK.com.

Traditionally a valve bag system has been a conglomeration of individual pieces of equipment pulled together to get the job done.  The integration was minimal – just enough to make sure everything functioned properly.  Can you imagine using only one HMI to effectively control and monitor a truly integrated system?  And what if product changeovers could be handled with the simple push of a button?  Well, at STONEPAK, full integration is now the reality.

STONEPAK (St. Regis at the time) shipped the first automatic valve bag applicator, for hanging empty bags on the spout of a valve bag filler, in 1970.  Hundreds of conventional machines in various models and configurations have been shipped since.  As robot technology improved, it became practical and economical to use robots to move the empty bags.  STONEPAK (Smurfit-Stone at the time) teamed with Fanuc Robotics and shipped the first robot applicator in 2001.  Which machine, a robot or a conventional bag applicator, is best for you?

For almost two decades, STONEPAK has provided ultrasonic sealing solutions to the valve bag packaging industry. The Model 2000 ultrasonic Sealer was introduced in 1990 to provide a reliable method for sealing valve bags filled with powdered and granular products. Later, the Models 2001 and 2002 Inline Ultrasonic Sealers were developed to meet the demand for increased rates. Today, over 200 STONEPAK ultrasonic sealers are installed and operating on 4 continents.
